What is Vainglory? Vainglory is a MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) video game from Super Evil Megacorp developers.
I saw a video of it on YT (while I was checking Clash of Clans videos from my fave youtubers) and it reminded me of DOTA. Two compteting teams battle out to destroy each other's base while protecting their own. So if you are familiar with DOTA, then you have a bit of an idea of how Vainglory works. Though the latter only has 3 players per team while the former has 5-6.
The difference between the two is that Vainglory is designed for smartphones! Awesome isn't it? You gotta see the graphics. It was actually named by the British newspaper, The Guardian, as the "best" IOS game of 2014. It is available for free download on iPhone and Android.
I've known quite a number of Clash of Clans players who are also playing this game. Few friends of mine and some COC youtubers have featured Vainglory on their channel. Hmmm... maybe I should ask my siblings if we can try this out since we've played DOTA together. Or I can ask my clanmates Jag and Kacey who will definitely turn me down for sure.
Anyway, I downloaded it. The file was big but it fit on my phone's memory. Hurray! I was all giddy and I clicked the icon and here's what popped on my screen:
