Relationships. Separation.

Gerty isn't well for the past months. But most of my closest friends know that I get on with life. I still smile and I still laugh even on the most shallow jokes. But lately, it feels like I am hanging by a thread. I do not know who to talk to or how am I even going to start.

My parents aren't on the best of terms lately and I feel the burden since I stay with them. I am thankful to those who gave their advice and I feel so blessed to have Tox give his thoughts on events like these. He said,
"Marriage forces a relationship into a box and sometimes that box just isn't right. That doesn't mean you should give up but it also doesn't mean you should fight a losing battle"
His words don't only apply to married couples but also for any relationship in general. Whatever relationship we have with someone, we should know when it is time to stop fighting and save our self. As my friend Wkt always tells me, self-preservation is important. You shouldn't let people destroy you, your self-respect, self-esteem, etc. You need to have that part of you who can stand up and bring your life forward.

Tox also said,
"I don't even think a relationship should be given up... but it can change. It is unfortunate, but I'm sure there are many things that can be done to avoid it, but people do change and grow apart"
Well said my friend. Well said.

My sincerest thank s to Tox, Jo and to some of the members of the C.E clan. I feel so blessed to have met you guys and major thanks to Peng who recruited me on global :)

C.E clan is not my original COC clan. I met them through Peng during one of those times I left my clan C.N. to "breathe" for a while. I visit them once in a while and it is a joy spending time with them :D
